We find ourselves living in an age where our culture is out of healthy rhythm with the natural world.  This produces a mismatch between what our primal biology expects and the realities we currently live within. As a consequence, many of us spend a considerable amount of time living in a sub-optimal state of physical and mental well-being.

Yet, we can be powerful agents in our own healing and rejuvenation.  In ancient China, the cultivation of this capability was called Yang Sheng, or “nourishing life”.

Through qigong and lifestyle modification coaching, I support those who want to take control of their own health. Together, we will co-create a new story of holistic wellness based on time-tested ancestral wisdom

  • Three-week Health Coaching Program

    (Coming January 2026)

    Invest in a new version of yourself.  In this customizable and repeatable program, we will work together to progress you towards your wellness goals. I will support you in implementing natural self-care practices and habits surrounding a range of possible topics. From seasonal food and cooking to movement and fitness, learning to apply nourishing lifestyle principles to your daily life has the potential to revive vitality and well-being. We will meet for 45 minutes, once a week, for three weeks.

  • Personal Qigong Lessons

    Ancient chinese medicinal movement practices have demonstrated for thousands of years to be effective for improving mobility, posture, immunity, balance, longevity, and much more. Rebranded as qigong (“chee-gung”) in the 20th century, these gentle exercises can produce maximum gains in health and functioning with minimal effort. I will guide you as you begin your journey into Qigong, Tai Chi, or Bagua. One-on-one lessons are half an hour and can be tailored towards your interests.

  • FLX Community Qigong

    Join our public classes held at the Brooktondale Community Center. No experience is necessary. Each month, we will explore a different qigong theme or form(s) suitable for beginners. Each monthly session consists of four 45-minute classes.  Next sessions are as follows:

    November: Qigong Fundamentals

    December: Shaolin Neigong

    January: 8 Silken Movements
